MikroTik CCR1036-8G-2S+EM Router has full size USB & high speed M.2 slot. The update CCR1036-8G-2S+EM has onboard 8GB of RAM built in. The new CCR1036-8G-2S  has two SFP+ ports for 10G interface support. CCR1036-8G-2S+EM Router has redundant power supply with a better design, an RJ45 serial connector, and all-around increased sturdiness, effectiveness, and dependability. The performance is the same and it employs the same 36-core Tilera CPU as our previous CCR1036 model, but now ten gigabit links are supported.

Ethernet test results

All tests are carried out in accordance with RFC2544 using Xena Networks' customized testing apparatus (XenaBay) (Xena2544). With a 0.1% packet loss tolerance and 30+ second tries, the maximum throughput is calculated for packet sizes of 64, 512, and 1518 bytes. 

IPsec test results

The hardware and software combinations specified in the test results were used to achieve the device's maximum performance; other configurations are likely to produce less impressive results.
